TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE FOR COLORADOPROSPECTOR.COM


Coloradoprospector.com reserves the right to change the terms and 
conditions of the user agreement without prior notice to the user.
It is the responsibility of the user to regularly review the terms
of this agreement. 

			PRIVACY POLICY

Your personal information will not be shared with anyone unless
compelled by law.


  As a member of coloradoprospector.com you agree to our terms and 
conditions of use by reading the following and clicking ACCEPT at
the bottom of the page.

			DEFINITIONS

	AREA(S): Are to be defined as "The prospecting areas posted
		 by coloradoprospector.com on this website, which 
		 are on public land, open to the public for 
		 prospecting and exploration." Also to include 
		 all corresponding information to each "area".

	MEMBER:  A paid and valid "member" (you), which also
		 includes members legal spouse and children 
		 under age 18 while in the company of a valid member.

  MEMBERS
  PERSONAL USE:  "Members" use of information gathered by 
		 coloradoprospector.com while prospecting in 
		 the state of Colorado.


PROSPECTING:	  Use of hand tools and/or hand fed equipment such as
		  shovels, picks, pans, sluice boxes, rocker boxes, 
		  metal detectors, etc. (In some areas, small dredges
		  under 4" fall into this catagory.)


Member SHALL NOT re-transmit, re-post, or re-produce, in or on any 
type of media known now or in the future, any of the prospecting
"area(s)" in all or part, or any of the corresponding information
specific to each area. Including but not limited to maps, directions,
descriptions, coordinates without the express written consent of 
coloradoprospector.com.

exception: Valid members may download and print information 
	   on prospecting areas for "members personal use" 
	   ONLY!

	   THIS INFORMATION MAY NOT BE SHARED WITH ANY PERSON 
	   OR PARTY THAT IS NOT A CURRENT AND VALID MEMBER OF 
	   COLORADOPROSPECTOR.COM AND OF THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL
	   OF MEMBERSHIP.


			FORUM RULES

Our membership structure contains several different levels. The 
forum is open and accessible to all levels and the general public. 
Inappropriate material will be removed. Keeping this in mind, 
the following rules will be STRICTLY ENFORCED!

1) Member will refer to any prospecting "area(s)" ONLY by the 
   designated number assigned to it by coloradoprospector.com,
   in this forum or any forums on other websites.

2) No member shall post any maps, directions, descriptions, 
   coordinates for any prospecting "areas(s)" or any other 
   information specific to the prospecting "area(s)" posted
   on coloradoprospector.com

3) No member shall post any information of any kind that will
   describe or reveal the location, or lead people to any of
   the prospecting "area(s)" that coloradoprospector.com has
   posted currently or "area(s)" that it has posted in the past.



member also agrees to follow all laws that may apply
to members activities. Member also understands that the laws and
regulations may be different on National Forest Lands than those on 
State Lands, or from one National Forest to the next, or from one 
county to another...etc.

Member acknowledges that the member himself/herself is responsible
for knowing and verifying all laws pertaining to
members activities while using public or private land in Colorado.
Including but not limited to any permits needed for a specific
activity. ie. prospecting, camping, fishing....etc.



			DISCLAIMER

ColoradoProspector.com does not guarantee the accuraccy of the 
information posted for each area. Some public records are not
updated very frequently in undeveloped areas and may not be
accurate at the time research was completed. This is usually
due to a recent park donation, open space aquisition, or even 
mis-posted/lack of posting by National Forest of information.
If ColoradoProspector.com receives notification that an "area"
is in fact not open to the public for "prospecting", the "area"
will promptly be removed and replaced with a valid "area".  

Neither Coloradoprospector.com, it's owners, nor it's officers shall
be held liable for any types of damages (personal or property) 
incurred or inflicted by or to any persons utilizing information 
gathered by coloradoprospector.com.


Coloradoprospector.com reserves the right to change any part of the 
membership, membership benefits, or user agreement at any time
without notice.  

Coloradoprospector.com reserves the right to ban any member/membership
without refund if member violates any portion of this agreement, 
at the sole discretion of coloradoprospector.com, or if 
coloradoprospector.com so chooses, a member concensus may be used.

Once a membership is activated, there will be NO REFUNDS.
