Thought it would be cool to attempt to post a few pics of the Supermoon eclipse tonight. Here is a fairy good chart depicting what time the lunar eclipse will start and end.
[Image Provided by SpaceWeather.com] ill be posting a few images of what i'm able to capture of this lunar eclipse later on tonight or the next day. -------------------- Proud CP lifetime club member,

It was indeed a very cool sight to behold! Due to the temperature dropping into the single digits my smartphone camera could not be used, frost started to cover up my telescopes eyepiece so i was forced to take pics without the telescopes visual aid and managed to get a couple of fairly sweet pictures.
Only after trying to take these pictures did i realise that it got harder to take pics as it got closer to full eclipse, less light for the camera to gather. It proved as a challenge i enjoyed and will most certainly do again, altho better planning for cold weather should deffinetly be something that i do before the next full Lunar eclipse. Keep looking up. Edit: I forgot to add a couple of the other pics i got as well. -------------------- Proud CP lifetime club member,

There where a couple of pics i was able to get of the moon before it got shadowed by earth.
And also a pic of the telescope lined up with the rising moon in the shot. -------------------- Proud CP lifetime club member,
